Dont Boil The Noodles Lasagna Recipe

	Frankieanne / All my dishes 2 years, 5 months ago I'll do just about anything to get out of washing another pot, so I love this recipe. I cut it off a Golden Grain pasta box about 25 years ago! Ingredients

1/2 lb. ground beef

3/4 cup water

2 - 15 oz. cans or 1 - 32 oz. jar Marinara sauce

1 tsp. salt

1 - 8 oz. package lasagna noodles

1 cup Ricotta cheese

12 oz. sliced or grated mozarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 375F. Brown ground beef; drain. Add water, Marinara sauce and salt. Bring to a boil. In 2 qt. oblong baking dish layer hot sauce, uncooked noodles, Ricotta and mozzarella cheese; repeat layers, ending with sauce. Cover tightly with foil and bake for one hour. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Garnish with Parmesan cheese.

There are lasagne noodles available now that do not require pre cooking. Buitoni makes them and I believe Barilla makes them, too. This is a good solution for an emergency, though.
