How to make it

  • Add fresh minced chives to sea salt.
  • Bake the mixture in the oven to dry the leaves and blend the flavors.
  • Store in an airtight jar.
  • If you like the oniony flavor of chives, add more chives to the salt.
  • Livens up a recipe.
  • Adds an oniony zip to just about any dish!
  • Note: no temp and I would bake 350 until dried

    Hey Midgelet! I love to make my own seasonings and this one sounds awesome! Donman has a wonderful seasoning on his pages of his own, I've used that one & it's awesome. Thanks for this one.
