Chive Sea Salt Recipe
off a vege group from Fanny Mae a recipe for this easy condiment which can liven up many foods. My note: Use sea salt as it is best for this recipe and preservation

Ingredients
  • 1 bunch chives, fresh, minced
  • 1/4 sea salt

Directions
  1. Add fresh minced chives to sea salt.
  2. Bake the mixture in the oven to dry the leaves and blend the flavors.
  3. Store in an airtight jar.
  4. If you like the oniony flavor of chives, add more chives to the salt.
  5. Livens up a recipe.
  6. Adds an oniony zip to just about any dish!
  7. Note: no temp and I would bake 350 until dried

Hey Midgelet! I love to make my own seasonings and this one sounds awesome! Donman has a wonderful seasoning on his pages of his own, I've used that one & it's awesome. Thanks for this one.
