How to make it

  • mix bread crumbs with milk in a large bowl
  • add garlic, herbs, salt, pepper, Worchestershire, egg, mix well
  • break in ground beef and pork and mix together, not too much tho
  • make ping pong sized balls
  • heat butter and oil in skillet, add onion and cook for a few minutes
  • add mushrooms and cook 5-10 mins
  • in a small bowl mix flour and melted butter into a thick paste
  • add paste to skillet and cook for a couple minutes
  • gradually add can of stock til it reaches desired thickness
  • nestle in however many meatballs you want for dinner (i used 16)
  • cover and simmer on low for 40-45 mins
  • you can preheat the oven to 350 and bake remaining meatballs (two trays, depending on how big you made them) bake til done (maybe 20 mins) and freeze for later
