Bacon And Herb Quiche

A tasty quiche, with or without a homemade crust. I am bacon lover from waaay back!
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups graham flour (I use all-purpose flour) shopping list
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups bacon, chopped and cooked shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups Emmental cheese, shredded OR cheese of your choice shopping list
- 4 large eggs shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh pepper shopping list
- 2 to 3 teaspoons parsley, thyme and basil, chopped shopping list
- 1 cup heavy cream shopping list
How to make it
- Have prepared pie shell ready in a 9" quiche pan.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Combine the cooked bacon and shredded cheese in a mixing bowl.
- Whisk the eggs together in a small bowl.
- Add eggs to bacon/cheese mixture and stir.
- Add salt, pepper and herbs.
- Stir.
- Add cream.
- Using a whisk, combine all ingredients GENTLY.
- Pour egg mixture into prepared pastry shell.
- Bake for 35 minutes OR until golden on top.
