Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375 F
  • grease a loaf (9x5 or 9x4) pan (I used liquid margarine)
  • mix all ingredients quickly (it will be a little lumpy like muffins, that is good)
  • turn dough/batter into pan, pour more butter over the top if so desired (not really necessary IMO)
  • bake for 1 hour
  • excellent with cream cheese

Bread is solid beer and beer is liquid bread! I used Monks Cafe Sour Red for a more sourdough taste. This is an awesome recipe!

I had one years and years ago. I am old here, that was just beer and self rising flour. Yours sounds very good.
