How to make it

  • Scald the milk in pan.
  • In bowl,beat the eggs until creamy.
  • Add your sugars,flour,and 1-1/2 Cups of the scalded milk.
  • Place in pan with remaining milk.
  • Cook stirring all the time over medium heat until thick,about 18 minutes or so.
  • Take from heat,add the vanilla and butter,stir in well.
  • You will need to keep stirring the mixture about every 6 or 8 minutes until cooled down.
  • Chill if you like,but we always liked it right after it had cooled down from the stove.
  • Simple,plain,but pretty darn good...anyway, I thought so.
