- 5-1/2 Cups of Farm Fresh milk shopping list
- 3 Fresh Farm eggs shopping list
- 1-1/2 Cups brown sugar ,packed down shopping list
- 1/2 Cup White sugar shopping list
- 3/4 Cups flour shopping list
- 2 teaspoons vanilla(she made homemade,when she could) shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons Churned butter shopping list
How to make it
- Scald the milk in pan.
- In bowl,beat the eggs until creamy.
- Add your sugars,flour,and 1-1/2 Cups of the scalded milk.
- Place in pan with remaining milk.
- Cook stirring all the time over medium heat until thick,about 18 minutes or so.
- Take from heat,add the vanilla and butter,stir in well.
- You will need to keep stirring the mixture about every 6 or 8 minutes until cooled down.
- Chill if you like,but we always liked it right after it had cooled down from the stove.
- Simple,plain,but pretty darn good...anyway, I thought so.
