Hideg Alma Leves - Cold Apple Soup Recipe

Ingredients

4 apples, pared and diced

1/4 cup sugar

grated rind of 1 lemon

3 cups hot water

1/2 cup red or white wine

2 Tbsp. cold water

1/2 cup heavy cream

Directions

combine the apples, sugar, lemon rind and hot water.

cook until apples are tender

add the wine

blend the flour and cold water until smooth

thin with a few Tbsps. of hot sauce

then mix into the soup

simmer 5 minutes

chill and add sour cream before serving.
