QUICK  TASTY YEAST DINNER ROLLS Recipe
These are good whe you need rolls in a hurry.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup war water
  • 1/3 cup butter flavored shortening, melted
  • 1 T. sugar
  • 1 & 1/2 t. salt
  • 2 packages of dry yeast
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 T. butter, melted
  • 3 & 1/2 cups flour White Lily is best)

Directions
  1. In a bowl, mix the water, shortening, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add yeast and mix well
  3. Blend in the egg
  4. Gradually add the flour, and mix until dough is well blended and soft (you will have a soft dough)
  5. On a floured board roll or pat the dought into a rectangle shape.
  6. Fit the dough into a well greased 9X13 inch baking pan like Pyrex.
  7. With a sharp knife, cut into 24 1X4 inch pieces.
  8. Brush cut sides with melted butter.
  9. Allow to rise until doubled which will take only about half hour.
  10. Bake in preheated 425 degree over for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
