Last minute plans for dinner left me needing Thousand Island dressing. TID is not a favorite around my home so it was just not something we stock. Not wanting to go to the store and short on time, I chose this recipe to make without comparing it to similar recipes. The only ingredient I did not have was the chili sauce so I made due with a mixture made mainly of ketchup and chile powder. Only had one pathetic sprig of parsley so had to use dried. This was a quick and easy solution. I still don’t care for TID but it worked well in my recipe and I may never buy store bought again. Photo posted.
