ME OH MY OH CRAWFISH PIE

- 1 small onion, chopped shopping list
- 2/3 cup chopped celery shopping list
- 1/3 cup chopped bell pepper shopping list
- 3/4 cup butter shopping list
- 1 pound crawfish tails shopping list
- 1 tsp paprika shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped green onion shopping list
- 1/3 cup minced parsley shopping list
- 1 tbs chopped jalapeno pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp creole seasoning shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 1 tbs cornstarch shopping list
- 1 tbs tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 tbs lemon juice shopping list
- 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs shopping list
- 2 9-inch pie shells shopping list
How to make it
- Saute onion, celery, and bell pepper in butter until tender. Add crawfish, paprika, green onion, parsley, jalapeno pepper, and seasonings.
- Cook on medium heat 4-5 minutes.
- Add milk, cornstarch, tomato sauce, and lemon juice, stirring until mixture begins to thicken. Remove from heat. Let mixture cool 10 minutes.
- Fold in bread crumbs. Pour filling into pie crust. Arrange top crust over filling and pinch side to seal. Cut 3 1-inch slits in the top of the crust.
- Bake at 425 degrees 7 minutes.
- Lower to 375 degrees and bake for 35 minutes.
