Shrimp Dip Recipe


SHRIMP DIP Recipe
With only four ingredients, this easy dip is a snap to throw together.

Ingredients
  • one 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 Tablespoons horseradish
  • one 4 ounce can tiny shrimp, well drained

Directions
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, lemon juice, and horseradish until smooth. By hand, gently stir in shrimp. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with snack crackers of choice.
  2. Makes about 2 cups of dip.

I have a bag of frozen cooked shrimp in the freezer but they're sort of big. Do you think I can use those and just chop them up?

Alterations


I add some ketchup to my recipe. This would be similar to spreading the cream cheese on a plate, on top of cream cheese add cocktail sauce (which is horseradish sauce, lemon juice and ketchup) then add shrimp or crab on top of sauce. I have also see people add chopped black olives and cheese.
