Ingredients
- 1 large can tomaotes (32 oz)
- 1 once sun-dried tomatoes, soaked in water
- 1 cup minced onion
- 2 small cans green chile peppers
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 cup wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup Worchesershire sauce
- 1 tsp minced fresh rosemary
- 1 tsp minced fresh oregano
- 1 tsp minced fresh thyme
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground cumin seeds
- salt to tast
- Tabasco sauce to taste
Directions
- Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
- Heat almost to the boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat and cool a little before serving as a table condiment, or using a bast during last few minutes of cooking.
- Good with pork, beef, or venison. Refrigerate leftovers for a week or so.
