How to make it

  • Heat water to boiling.
  • Stir in rice, chicken broccoli and seasoning mix.
  • Reduce heat to low.
  • Cover and cook 20 minutes.
  • Add cheddar cheese, stir and serve.
  • ***Tips for beginner cooks****
  • Always wash everything with hot water and soap after touching raw chicken.
  • Easy chicken chunks-buy rotisserie chicken and tear off the bones for the use in this dish.
  • Alternately, Heat 2 tsp of oil in a skillet and add chunks of raw chicken tenders about 3/4 lb. of skinless boneless chicken breast.
  • Toss and cook until thoroughly cooked.
  • Can make this ahead and freeze in 2 cup portions for later use.
  • ***NOTE: Chicken cooked on the bone is moister and tastes better than b/l s/l breasts***
