Awesome Beer Bread

- 3 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle beer shopping list
- 2 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- ½ cup shredded cheese shopping list
- 1 teaspoon Italian herbs shopping list
- 4 large cloves of garlic, diced shopping list
- garlic butter – 1/4 cup butter melted with 1 or 2 diced cloves of garlic. shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt and brown sugar. Pour in beer; stir until a stiff batter is formed. Add cheese, olive oil, herbs, and diced garlic. Scrape dough into buttered and floured loaf pan.
- Pour garlic butter on top of unbaked dough
- Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean.

I've never made Beer Bread from scratch, only the boxed kind(pampered chef) Your's sounds very simple, will be trying this one...thanks
