Ingredients

How to make it

  • Peel and chop the avacado (it should be ripe and not too hard)
  • Chop tomato finely (you could skin it but i never do)
  • Put onion, avacado, salt, lime juice, coriander and the sauces into a blender and BLEND but leave A LITTLE LUMPY (not too chunky, not completely smooth)
  • I usually throw in the finely chopped TOMATO at the end and give it a LITTLE WHIZZ- just so its left a little chunky
  • Cover with cling film or tin goil and CHILL for half hour before serving
  • Serve with CRACKERS (or tacos they are just less healthy!), in a SANDWICH instead of butter, on TOAST with scrambled eggs for breakfast (seriously yum!)

    thanks all for comments, and LadyinC, if you're a fan of raw garlic I do understand - but not for me and I never came across it in Mexico, Guatemala or Central America in general??? everyone to their own :)
