Light Chocolate Mousse Recipe
All time favorite dessert . Will be gluten free if you use gluten-free cocoa powder. Wonderful guilt free dessert. From Recipezaar.

Ingredients
  • 1/2c boiling water
  • 2tsp gelatin powder
  • 11/2Tbs cocoa powder
  • 4 eggs,seperated
  • 1/3c superfine sugar
  • 1 pinch cream of tarter

Directions
  1. Combine water and gelatin in a jug. Whisk with a fork till gelatin has been dissolved
  2. Stir cocoa into the gelatin mix. Set aside to cool for 10 mins.
  3. In large mixer bowl,beat egg whites and cream of tarter till soft peaks form. Slowly add the sugar and beat til thick and glossy(beat between slow additions of sugar). With mixer on high speed ,add egg yolks,one at a time.
  4. Slowly pour gelatin mixture into egg mixture. Beat constantly till well combined.
  5. Pour mixture into 6 serving cups and refrigerate for 4 hours or till set.
  6. Dust with some extra cocoa to serve or use some chocolate shavings.
