Bread In A Bag

This is a fun activity to do with the kids. I have made the bread with my preschoolers at school.
Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 T. sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp, salt shopping list
- 2 T, butter shopping list
- 1 cup very warm water shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups flour ( more if needed) shopping list
- 1 gal. size zip lock bag shopping list
How to make it
- Into the bag place;
- yeast
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- sugar
- salt
- Add:
- butter and warm water
- Press most of the air from the bag and seal.
- Press and squeeze the bag with your hands until dough is mixed.
- Open bag.
- Add last of the flour.
- If dough is sticky add a little more flour.
- Unzip the bag.
- Let rest for 20 min.
- Spray pan with no stick cooking spray.
- Put dough in pan.
- Let rest until double in size. (1 hour)
- Preheat oven 375 degrees.
- Bake for 25- 30 min.
