Zippy Zesty Grilled Potatoes

- 4-5 lbs red skinned potatoes shopping list
- med onion (I have used white, red, and yellow - all good) shopping list
- 1/2 red bell pepper (or your fave color) shopping list
- SAUCE: shopping list
- 1/4 c olive oil shopping list
- 3 T melted butter shopping list
- 2 t worcestershire shopping list
- juice and zest from a lemon shopping list
- Several shakes garlic powder shopping list
- 1 t basil shopping list
- 1 bay leaf shopping list
- pinch or two kosher salt shopping list
- fresh ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Scrub potatoes, cut into large chunks into bowl of ice cold water
- Chop onion and pepper
- Make sauce (all ingredients except salt and pepper)
- Tear off extra large sheet of aluminum foil, place on counter, shiny side up.
- Drain water from potatoes
- Mix potatoes, onions, and peppers with sauce in large bowl until well coated
- Pour into single layer on foil
- Spinkle with a couple pinches kosher salt, and several grinds of fresh black pepper
- Bring sides up to make packet
- Grill on high, 20 minutes
- Turn down to medium, grill 45 minutes more
- Turn over halfway through cooking time
