Ingredients

How to make it

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease 10-inch cast iron skillet.
  • In large bowl, combine sour cream, milk and sugar; mix well.
  • Add muffin mix; stir to blend.
  • Spread batter in greased skillet.
  • In small bowl, stir toghether flour and sugar.
  • With pastry blender of fork, cut in butter until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle over batter.
  • Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until golden-brown and cake begins to pull away from sides of skillet.
  • Let cool 15 minutes.
  • Cut into wedges, place on serving plate and top with Smucker's Strawberry Preserves (optional).

    Oh how fun is that - a mix to use, also, so this has to be extra quick and easy. We can get Martha Washington mixes here, so I will have to pick up the strawberry muffin mix and give this a try...thanks, blue!
