Old Faithful Meatloaf

- nonstick cooking spray for the pan shopping list
- 2 tbs vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups minced onion shopping list
- 3/4 cup minced green pepper shopping list
- 2 pounds ground round shopping list
- 1 cup uncooked rolled oats shopping list
- 2 large eggs shopping list
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce shopping list
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 tsp. pepper shopping list
- 3/4 cup ketchup shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Coat loaf pan with cooking spray and set aside.
- Warm the oil in a small pan over med. heat.
- Add the onions and green peppers and saute' until soft, 8 to 10 minutes.
- Place saute' onions and green peppers in a large bowl ,add the ground round, oats, eggs, tomato sauce, salt and pepper and mix well.
- Press the mixture into the loaf pan.
- Bake for 1 hour.
- Remove the meatloaf from the oven and pour ketchup on top.
- Return to the oven and cook for another 15 minutes.

I can't believe it :0 Whenever meatloaf is prepared in my family, we always add oatmeal! I thought it was just us and your recipe is almost exactly the same as ours. This is too much. High 5 on a great meatloaf recipe!
