Ingredients

How to make it

  • Heat oven to 350.
  • Beat sugars, butter, shortening, vanilla and eggs in a large bowl with electric mixer on medium.
  • Using a wooden spoon stir in the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
  • Stir in chips and nuts then drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2” apart on ungreased sheets.
  • Bake 10 minutes then cool 2 minutes and remove from sheets and cool on wire racks.

    Sounds good, Cat...I guess the 'inside out' refers to a chocolate cookie with white chips, instead of vice versa! Thanks for a great post...

    I just don't get the part about "bake 10 minutes then cook 2 minutes". It all sounds great until that instruction. Help me, meow!
