Ingredients

2 cups milk

2 cups water

1 small onion (minced)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 herring (Previously soaked)

Directions

Place milk, water, onion and seasoning in a saucepan.

Boil for 10 minutes

Add Herring (cut into small pieces)

Cook until herring is tender
