Tied Potato Stick Candy Recipe

Ingredients

2 packages (12 oz each) butterscotch pieces

1/4 cup peanut butter

1 jar (12oz) dry-roasted peanuts or mixed nuts\

1 can (7oz) potato sticks

Directions

melt butterscotch pieces in heavy saucepan over low heat until smooth. stirring constantly

OR MICROWAVE -

place butterscotch pieces in 4-quart microwave safe dish

cook on high 4 - 5 minutes. stirring halfway through heating time, until melted)

Add peanut butter and stir until well blended

Remove from heat and stir in nuts and potato sticks

Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper

Let stand until candy hardens

SERVE; store in airtight container

Makes approximately 60 pieces of 2-inch candy
