How to make it

  • Crush 9 of the cookies to fine crumbs in food processor; reserve for later use.
  • (Cookies can also be finely crushed in a resalable plastic bag using a rolling pin, or hammer)
  • Crush remaining 36 cookies to fine crumbs; place in medium bowl. Add cream cheese; mix until well blended.
  • Roll cookie mixture into 42 balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Melt chocolate according to packaging
  • Dip balls in chocolate; place on wax paper-covered baking sheet. (Any leftover chocolate can be stored at room temperature for another use. Sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs.
  • Refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour. Store leftover truffles, covered, in refrigerator.
  • And now its time to watch them disappear.

    These are "the bomb" my teen boys said. LOL I made them for a church bake sale/auction and pepole went nuts for them. I packages them on foil covered strips of cardboard a dozen at a time. Thanks for sharing!

    These go fast everywhere they show up. This started as a little gift ina birthday basket and now they just show up upon request.
