How to make it

  • Grind tomatoes, pepper, garlic, green chillie, cumin seeds n curry leaves in a blender
  • Heat oil in a pan
  • Add mustard seeds, curry leaves n red chillies
  • Add the blended items
  • Pour tamarind juice n cook covered for 10 mts
  • Garnish with coriander leaves

    My mom makes it this way: She never grinds tomatoes, chilly and curry leaves. She jus crushes them in hand and drops them. She actually soaks all the stuff like 30 minutes b4 and then brings the whole solution to boil. That makes it real tasty...
    Anyways, great recipe..
