Loris Beef Stew Recipe

How to make it

  • Mix flour, a little salt and pepper in a freezer or storage bag.
  • Add meat and shake to coat.
  • Brown meat in a large pot (Dutch oven).
  • Add water and remaining spices, the ketchup, chili sauce, tobasco and minced onion.
  • Simmer 1-2 hours until meat is tender.
  • Add veggies and cook another 30 minutes until tender.

    Kitchen Bouquet is a browning sauce/liquid. It comes in a little bottle and I can find it at our grocery store by the condiments. Not sure what is in it, LOL, but I usually use a little in any of my beef-soup recipes and salisbury steak.
