Baked Cranberry Pudding With Butter Sauce

- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 3 tablespoons melted butter shopping list
- 2/3 cup milk shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 2 cups fresh cranberries shopping list
- butter Sauce: 1/2 cup melted butter, 1 cup sugar, 3/4 cup light cream or half-and-half. shopping list
How to make it
- Sift dry ingredients together into a bowl. Add the melted butter, milk and egg.
- Beat for 2 minutes.
- Stir in the cranberries.
- Pour into a buttered 8-inch square baking dish.
- Bake for 40 minutes in 350F degree oven.
- To make the butter sauce, mix the melted butter, sugar and cream together in a small sauce pan. Cook for 5 minutes over medium-low heat, stirring constantly.
- When the "pudding" has finished baking, cut into even slices and pour a generous portion of the warm butter sauce over each piece.
