Amazing Tuna Melt Recipe

Ingredients

canned tuna

mayo

balsamic vinegar

sweet-hot mustard

red onion

roma tomato

bread

medium cheddar cheese

Salt and pepper

Directions

In a largish bowl add drained tuna, a tablespoon of mayo and a tablespoon of the vinegar

On toasted bread spread your mustard

do the tuna

tomato slices

finely sliced onion

cheddar cheese

I like to add some salt and pepper to the top of the cheese before the broiler

Stick the open faced bad boys under the broiler until the cheese melts

I don't have sweet-hot mustard yet, so I used French's yellow. It was good the way it mingled with the balsamic flavor, but I'll bet the sweet-hot is better. I'm going to get some and try it again. And again. Thanks for a great post.

I had these a couple nights ago and they were Awesome. The Sweet hot mustard and the vineagar really made my taste buds zing! I had some left over and experiments a little bit with Thousand Island dressing as well instead of mayo.

I really enjoyed eating them. I will definately have to have them again.
