Fruit Upside-down Pudding

- 2 cups brown sugar shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 3 Tbsp. hot water shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 3 Tbsp. butter shopping list
- 2 cups fruit, any kind shopping list
How to make it
- Combine 1 cup brown sugar and eggs. Beat well.
- Add water and beat again.
- Add flour, baking powder, and vanilla and mix well.
- Combine remaining brown sugar and butter in heavy saucepan.
- Heat until sugar is melted.
- Pour caramel mixture into bottom of a 9"x9" cake pan.
- Add fruit.
- Spread batter over fruit.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and immediately turn pan upside down onto a sreving platter.
- Serve warm with milk
- Makes 8 servings
