How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Spread pie filling in bottom of a 8 or 9 inch square pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine dry cake mix, nuts and butter. Sprinkle over pie filling. Bake for 40-50 minutes until golden brown. Serve with ice cream.

    This is my absolute favorite I have this same Recipe stored somewhere. I made it for my daughters wedding. Hadn't had this in awhile cannot wait to make again. Thank you very much for reminding me.

    This recipe has always been one of my favorites. I must say though, I've never added the lemon juice.

    Thanks for posting, I think I'll make it for guests this weekend. We are going to a friend's dairy and "real" ice cream will be made that day this will go well with it.
