How to make it

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter and shortening until light and fluffy.
  • Gradually beat in powdered sugar.
  • In a small bowl, stir together meringue powder and water.
  • Beat into frosting.
  • Add remaining ingredients; beat until light and fluffy.
  • If frosting is too thick, add more milk until desired consistency is achieved.
