How to make it

  • Cook the noodles per pkg. instructions, about 10 minutes.
  • MEANWHILE, in a LARGE frypan (at least 12") :
  • Fry the bacon until mostly crisp, adding the onion when the bacon partly cooked.
  • [Optional-Deb] When browning the onions, sprinkle a tsp of sugar over them.
  • Drain off most of the fat and return to heat.
  • Add the cabbage and continue to toss & saute.
  • Add garlic salt to taste.
  • Add the butter.
  • Add the cooked and drained noodles; continue to saute & toss or stir.
  • Top with grated Parmesan cheese to serve.
