CARROT RAISIN SLAW This recipe came from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Corbett Estate in Fate, Texas in 1986.

Ingredients
  • 5 carrots shredded
  • 1 cup thin sliced celery
  • 1/2 cup thin sliced onion
  • 3/4 cup raisins
  • Dressing:
  • 4 tablespoons sour cream
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions
  1. Combine slaw ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Mix dressing ingredients together then add to slaw.
  3. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight.
