Adapted recipe for delcious pickled eggs ( not sweet and sour ) I added more sugar to cut down on the strong vinegar taste.
If tinted pink from the beet juice and when cut, these look beautiful.
The longer they stay in the jar,, the more pickled... More

This is the basic way i make pickled eggs, but i throw the beets in and also some thick sliced rings of onions, every thing is wonderful pickled. the guys around here never let the eggs sit long enough to pickle all the way thru.
