Chocolate Chip Cookies

I think when you taste your first chocolate chip cookie as a small child, that recipe is your favorite. This recipe was the one my mom used while I was growing up and it's still my favorite. You can find it on page 83 of the cookbook shown.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup of butter shopping list
- 3/4 cups brown sugar, packed shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 2 cups of Bisquick shopping list
- 6 ounce package of semi-sweet chocolate chips shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix thoroughly butter, brown sugar and egg.
- Stir in the Bisquick, mix well with a fork (Cookie dough should be thick.
- If not add a little more Bisquick)
- Stir in the chocolate chips
- Drop by the tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto a cookie sheet.
- Bake about 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes about 2 dozen.

I love this one! I have never made the chocolate chip cookies using Bisquick as a base but I have good one that uses cake mix I'll have to get up there. I have so many great recipes from all over!
