Chocolate-filled Poppy Seed Cookies

- 1 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 2 egg yolks shopping list
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract shopping list
- 2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 3 tablespoons poppy seeds shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 cup dark chocolate chunks, melted shopping list
How to make it
- In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
- Beat in egg yolks and vanilla.
- Combine flour, poppy seeds and salt.
- Gradually add into the creamed mixture.
- Roll into 1-inch balls.
- Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
- Using end of wooden spoon handle, make indentation in center of each.
- Bake at 375F degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Immediately make an indication in center again of each cookie.
- Remove to wire racks to cool slightly.
- Fill with melted dark chocolate, and let set.
