Ingredients
- 1 cup of butter
- 2/3 cup of sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. of vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. of salt
- 2 1/2 cup of sifted flour
Directions
- Cream together butter and sugar
- beat in the egg
- add vanilla, salt, and flour
- mix ingredients until well blended
- chill dough 3-4 hours before rolling
- preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- roll out dough and cut
- bake about 8-10 min or until barely colored

This is a terrible recipe, there is an ingredient missing, i caught it in time, misssing is either baking soda, or baking powder, cookies will not raise without them
