Ingredients
  • 3 tbls. Catalina salad dressing
  • 3 tbls. honey
  • 3 tbls. apricot preserves
  • 3 tbls. grape jelly
  • 2 tbls. chives, minced
  • 2 tbls. balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbls. olive oil
  • 2 tbls. ketchup
  • 1 tbls. soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 beef tenderloins steaks, 1 1/2 to 2 inch thickness

Directions
  1. In saucepan, add everything but steaks
  2. Bring to boil
  3. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered 30 minutes, stirring occasionally
  4. Preheat oven to broil
  5. Set aside 1/4 cup sauce and keep warm
  6. Broil steaks until 140 degrees for rare, 160 for medium all the while basting with remaining sauce
  7. Serve with remaining sauce over steaks
