Hot And Spicy Pinto Beans

These are great beans with a little sting. Goes great alongside brisket or ribs. Enjoy
Ingredients
- 1 pound dried pinto beans shopping list
- 4 fresh jalapeno peppers finely diced shopping list
- 1 medium yellow onion diced shopping list
- 1/2 pound fresh salt pork shopping list
- 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground garlic powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Following directions on package bring beans to a boil then reduce heat and simmer.
- Add salt pork, cum, garlic powder and jalapenos.
- Finely dice onion and set aside then complete cooking beans.
- When beans are finished cooking add diced onions and Tabasco sauce and serve.
