Ingredients
  • 6 pork chops
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons paprika

Directions
  1. Saute onion and garlic in hot butter.
  2. Remove from skillet.
  3. Trim chops ans season with salt and pepper.
  4. Brown chops in skillet.
  5. Pour off fat.
  6. Lower heat.
  7. Add bay leaf and broth.
  8. Cook, covered, over low heat for 1 hour.
  9. Transfer chops to serving plate and keep warm.
  10. Heat juices in skillet and reduce by half.
  11. Add sour cream, onion/garlic mixture and paprika.
  12. Blend thoroughly.
  13. Heat through but don't boil.
  14. Pour over pork chops and serve.
