Mint Cookie Candies

Cool and refreshing, great after dinner dessert. courtesy: Taste of Home
Ingredients
- 12 ounces white candy coating, coarsely chopped shopping list
- 6 tsps. shortening, divided shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. green food coloring shopping list
- 4 mint cream filled chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed shopping list
- 2 pkgs. andes mint candies shopping list
How to make it
- Melt candy coating in microwave with 4 tsps. shortening. Stir until smooth. Stir in food coloring.
- Pour evenly into minature muffin cup liners.
- Sprinkle with cookie crumbs.
- Melt mint candies in microwave with remaining shortening. Stir until smooth.
- Pour over cookie crumbs.
- Let stand until set.
