Shrimp Creole Easy Peasy

- 1 1/2 lbs. of fresh shrimp, peeled shopping list
- 1 cup chopped onions shopping list
- 1 cup chopped green peppers shopping list
- 1 cup of chopped celery shopping list
- 2 cloves of minced garlic shopping list
- 4 tbsp of butter shopping list
- 2 tbsp of oil shopping list
- 3 cups of your favorite marinara sauce shopping list
- 1/4 to 1/3 cup of white wine shopping list
- 1/2 tsp of dried basil leaves shopping list
- 1 tbsp of parsley shopping list
- 1 tsp of Chef Paul Prudhomme's "seafood Magic" shopping list
- 4 cups of brown rice cooked shopping list
- garnish with shopping list
How to make it
- In a large saute pan or frying pan, melt butter with oil.
- Stir fry the onions, peppers, celery until tender but still nearly crisp.
- Add the peeled shrimp and garlic.
- Cook until not quite pink.
- Add sauce and seasonings.
- Cover and cook 4 minutes.
- Serve over rice
- Sprinkle with lemon zest, parsley for color and a "fresh lemon burst"
