Ingredients
  • 3 cups cored peeled thinly sliced apples
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 Tablespoon wheat Germ
  • 1/4 cup chopped Walnuts
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 stick butter
  • Preheat ove:n 350
  • 8x8x2 inch greased pan

Directions
  1. Place apples in prepared pan
  2. In small bowl combine Flour, wheat germ,walnuts,sugar,cinnimon
  3. cut in margirine untill topping is crumbly
  4. Spoon topping over apples
  5. Bake till apples are soft and topping is brown.
  6. May serve with 1 scoop favorite Ice cream

Since I have ground flax seed meal on hand I would use that.

I love cooked apple, whether its in pie, cobbler, fritter or whatever, I love them. Your recipe sounds wonderful!
