Afternoon Coffee Vodka Cooler

This is for my friend Wynne who likes coffee. (And vodka). And any of the rest of you who like coffee. (and vodka). Me? Not so much (coffee, that is! lol). Thought the coffee lovers would enjoy this one, though. Read more Plan in advance, as it will take 4 days - 2 weeks to make the coffee bean vodka. See less
Ingredients
- coffee BEAN vodka shopping list
- 16 whole espresso of coffee beans shopping list
- cheesecloth/100% cotton string shopping list
- 750 ML vodka shopping list
- COOLER shopping list
- ice cubes shopping list
- 1/2 c cold brewed coffee shopping list
- 2 T coffee Bean vodka shopping list
- 1 T whipping cream, half and half, or light cream shopping list
- 1 t superfine or regular granulated sugar shopping list
How to make it
- TO MAKE THE VODKA
- Place 16 whole esprresso or coffee beans on a peice of 100% cotton cheesecolth and tie into a bundle with clean 100% cotton string.
- Gently crush a few beans by tapping the tied coffee bean bundle lightly with a rolling pin.
- Pour a 750ml bottle vodka into a plastic freezer container, add coffee bean bundle
- Cover and store in freezer at least 4 days or up to 2 weeks - to chill longer, remove coffee bean bundle
- THE DRINK
- Fill a shot glass with ice
- Add remaining ingredients
- Stir gently
