Cappuccino Nog

A great hot drink to serve your quests after dinner or just to make on a cold day.............or any day ....lol enjoy ................ courtesy betty crocker appetizers........
Ingredients
- 3- eggs- slightly beaten shopping list
- 1/3- cup granulated sugar shopping list
- dash of salt shopping list
- 2 1/2 - cups milk shopping list
- 1- teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1- cup hot espresso coffee shopping list
- 1/2- cup Kahlua or brandy shopping list
- 1- cup whipping ( heavy cream) shopping list
- 1- tablespoon packed brown suagr shopping list
- shaved chocolate and cinnamon for garnish............. shopping list
How to make it
- Mix eggs , granulated sugar and salt in a heavy 2 quart saucepan
- gradually stir in milk
- cook over low heat 15 to 20 minutes stirring constantly, just until mixture coats a meatl spoon
- remove from heat
- stir in vanilla
- mix coffee and liqueur
- gradually stir coffee mixture into custard mixture keep warm
- just before serving beat whipping cream and brown sugar in a chilled bowl with electric mixer on high speed until stiff
- gently stir in 1 cup of the whipped cream into the custard mixture...........
- pour eggnog into mugs
- top with dollops of the remaining whipped cream
- sprinkle with shaved chocolate and sprinlke with cinnamon.
- serve immed ........
- serves 8 serve in glass mugs
