Kholodnik A Russian Soup

- 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed shopping list
- 2 beets, cooked, peeled and grated shopping list
- 2 cucumbers, grated shopping list
- green onions shopping list
- parsley, chopped shopping list
- basil shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 1 ea lemon. juiced shopping list
- tsp sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Boil potatoes in 2 1/2 l water until potatoes are well done.
- Cool down to the room temperature. Add all ingredients. Be careful with salt, lemon juice and sugar, the stock should be sweet-sour to your taste. The soup is served cold (that is why it is called Kholodnik)
- Serve with sour cream.
