- beef tenderloin shopping list
- potatoes (mashed with half & half and butter) shopping list
- Crimini mushrooms shopping list
- onions ( grilled in butter ) shopping list
- sour cream shopping list
- Bauer butterkase cheese shopping list
- Half & Half shopping list
- butter shopping list
- Cabernet Sauvignon shopping list
- cornstarch ( as a thickening agent ) shopping list
- 2 beef boullion cubes shopping list
How to make it
- Directions:
- Cut tenderloin into 1” steaks season with salt & pepper (fresh ground) grill medium rare ***no more!
- Sautee onions until clear, place to the side
- In the same pan place 2tbs butter 5oz Cabernet Sauvignon over medium heat bring to boil and reduce by half, combine 2tbs cornstarch and ½c water with boullion cubes stir into wine and butter reduction return to boil add sliced Crimini mushrooms and cook for 1-2 minutes on very low heat
- Presentation:
- Place a serving of mashed potatoes in the center of a plate, put tenderloin on top, place small amount of grilled onions, and cover with thin slice of Butterkase cheese, ladle red wine mushroom sauce over the top, add a healthy dollop of sour cream, garnish with fresh chives and serve.
