Ingredients
  • 21/2 lbs chicken wings, disjointed; or, just the drummetts
  • Your Favorite Creole Seasoning
  • Marinade:
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup Worchester sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbls of your favorite Creole seasoning
  • 4 medium size garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • Basting Sauce:
  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • 2 tbls unsalted butter, melted

Directions
  1. First prepare the marinade: mixing the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, Worchester sauce, Creole seasoning and the finely chopped garlic cloves. Next put the wings in whatever you use to marinate meat just so long as it is a non-reactive container or you can use a plastic bag. Make sure all of the wings are coated with the marinade, then place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours to allow the flavors of the marinade to meld.
  2. Once you are ready to bake the wings, preheat the oven to 375 degrees F, then line a baking sheet with foil, place the wings, including the marinade on to the baking sheet and put them in a 375 degree oven. In the meantime, prepare the basting sauce: ½ cup chicken stock and the melted butter. Approximately 30 minutes into the baking, baste the chicken wings with the basting sauce, turning the wings to make sure that all sides of the wings are coated. Bake for another 15-20 minutes until the wings are golden brown turning whenever you feel the need to make sure all of the sides are nicely brown. When the wings are done to your satisfaction, turn the heat off in and let them rest in the oven for about 10 minutes before serving. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, we like ranch dressing for these wings. You and can add as much spice as you like. If you want them hotter, you can add chili flakes or your favorite hot sauce to the marinade; and even a little honey, brown sugar or maple syrup to the basting sauce. Just do your own thing but have fun and enjoy! ;o)
