Maple Chicken

- 4 boneless,skinless chicken breasts shopping list
- 2tsp. onion salt shopping list
- 1/4tsp pepper shopping list
- 2Tbs butter,divided shopping list
- 2 fresh shallots,minced shopping list
- 4Tbs real maple syrup shopping list
- 2Tbs country-style Dijon mustard shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat broiler. Season the chicken breast with onion salt and pepper. Melt 1Tbs of the butter in a skillet over med-high heat. Add the chicken and cook till done,about 5 to 7 mins per side. Remove from pan,place on plate,cover with foil to keep warm.
- Add remaining butter to skillet. When melted,add the shallots and cook till translucent,about 5 mins. Add maple syrup and mustard and cook over med. heat,stirring often until thickened,about 5 mins. Place chicken on baking sheet. Divide the sauce among the chicken breasts,spreading ther tops only. Place the sheet under the broiler and cook till sauce is bubbly brown,2 to 4 mins.
