- 1/2 lb linguine shopping list
- 1/4 cup olive oil shopping list
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped shopping list
- 3 oz. tomato paste shopping list
- 1/2 cup red wine shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 2 tablespoons parsley shopping list
- 2 tablespoons basil shopping list
- 2 tablespoons marjoram shopping list
- 1 teasoon cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1/2 lb cooked shrimp, tail off, de-veined shopping list
- 1/2 lb scallops shopping list
- 1/2 lb crab meat or imitation rolled crab meat shopping list
- freshly grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- crushed red pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare linguine by boiling per directions on package
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil on medium high add garlic to oil and brown
- when garlic is browned, add the tomato paste, stirring in add red wine and stir in until well mixed
- turn down heat to medium.
- Mix in parsley, basil, cayenne, and marjoram.
- add water to sauce, allow to return to bubble
- add shrimp, scallops and crab meat thoroughly coating with sauce and cook about 5 minutes until scallops firm up
- Drain pasta and toss into skillet.
- Mix until well coated with sauce and place on a large plate
- sprinkle on cheese
- sprinkle on crushed red pepper to taste
